Making the decision to leave a professional career for two years was a difficult decision. However, I knew that I wanted to acquire the MFA in order to enhance a more successful and promising career. Enrolling in New York University's, TischSchool of the Arts, Dept. of Dance was a smart move. The faculty is a group of diverse professionals with expertise in many areas. My professors challenged me to be creative and to produce my best work by providing an environment that was supportive, safe, and free for me to stretch my creative powers. They polished my technique and encouraged my growth in dance, choreography and the performing arts. With degree in hand and new opportunities in my future, attending Tisch ranks high among my best decisions professionally.
